Dues are payable on an annual bases. Membership is based on a calendar year. ~other arrangements available upon request~ Provider Members are licensed Home Health, Hospice, or In-Home Service provider agencies that deliver home care and supportive services in the home. Membership fees are based on revenue. See Table below.
Important: Different provider number(s) with the same business line(s) requires a separate OAHC provider membership. Different provider number(s) with different business line(s) will combine gross revenues into one OAHC provider membership.
Example: ABC Home Care owns 3 separate agencies throughout Oregon (ABC Home Care, Sunny Home Care, Cloudy Home Care) and each of those agencies has a separate provider number. Each agency must join as a separate member. They can not be combined into one membership. Affiliate Members are organizations not licensed to provide home care in Oregon, but who provide services or products to the home care industry. Affiliate members are also individuals, active or retired, in allied health fields and not eligible for any other type of membership. Membership fees $498/year
Your association dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes. The 1994 Federal Revenue Reconciliation Act requires that only dues payments not associated with lobbying/advocacy issued in 2024 may only deduct 90% as an ordinary and necessary business expense. For specific guidelines members are directed to consult their accountant. |
